Terms & Conditions of Sale

These Terms & Conditions of Sale govern all products, merchandise, and services sold or provided by Island Spa & Sauna, whether purchased in-store or online, and whether or not specifically named in these Terms & Conditions. This includes, without limitation, gift cards, admission passes and admission credits, general facility admission, spa and wellness services, retail merchandise, and food and beverage purchases. By purchasing, receiving, booking, or redeeming any product or service from Island Spa & Sauna, the purchaser and any subsequent holder or guest agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions.

1. Scope

These Terms & Conditions apply to all current and future products, merchandise, and services offered by Island Spa & Sauna, including but not limited to gift cards, 10-Pass Admission Passes, 10-Pass Service Bundles, General Admission, Spa & Wellness Services, retail merchandise, and food and beverage purchases. Certain product categories have additional terms set out in the sections below; where a product, item, or service is not separately addressed in those sections, the general terms in Section 2 govern.

2. General Terms — All Products, Merchandise & Services

  • All products, merchandise, and services may be purchased and redeemed only in-store at Island Spa & Sauna, unless a specific product is expressly offered for online purchase.
  • Gift cards, admission passes, and service bundles may not be used to purchase other gift cards, General Admission, admission passes, service bundles, or certain promotional offers, unless otherwise specified at the time of sale.
  • All products, merchandise, and services are non-refundable and may not be resold, except as expressly stated in these Terms & Conditions or as required by law.
  • If a purchase exceeds the available balance or remaining credits on a product, the remaining amount must be paid using another accepted payment method.
  • Payments made by credit card may include a surcharge no greater than Island Spa & Sauna's cost of card acceptance.
  • All expiration dates are final.
  • A valid, government-issued photo ID is required at check-in for a guest's first visit for security purposes; returning guests are not required to present ID on subsequent visits.
  • Island Spa & Sauna reserves the right to refuse admission to, or remove without refund, any guest who violates facility policies.
  • Island Spa & Sauna reserves the right to update or modify these Terms & Conditions at any time without prior notice.
  • These products and services are void where prohibited or restricted by law.

3. General Admission (Single-Visit, In-Store)

  • General Admission is purchased in-store at the time of visit and provides same-day access to the facility. Guests may use gift cards or 10x Admission Bundles for General Admission.
  • There is no re-entry. Once a guest exits the premises, that guest may not re-enter on the same visit.
  • Upon reaching maximum capacity, Island Spa & Sauna reserves the right to institute a waitlist for incoming admissions. Guests with a pre-booked service appointment bypass the waitlist and are admitted without delay, provided they arrive within the 15-minute window of their reservation time; arriving outside this window may result in delayed entry.
  • Minors under age 10 are not permitted on regular business days (all ages are admitted on designated Family Days). Guests ages 4–17 are admitted only when accompanied by a same-sex guardian, who must sign a waiver at the front desk. Infants age 3 and under are admitted free of charge.
  • Elderly guests, or guests with heart complications, diabetes, high or low blood pressure, or who are on heavy medication, must sign a waiver at the front desk, or obtain medical consultation and approval, before using high-temperature wet or dry areas.

4. Gift Cards

4.1 Physical Gift Cards

Physical gift cards are bearer instruments and should be treated like cash. Island Spa & Sauna is not responsible for lost, stolen, damaged, or unauthorized use of a physical gift card. Once purchased, a physical gift card cannot be traced to its original purchaser, and it may be redeemed by anyone who presents the card.

4.2 Digital Gift Cards

  • Digital gift cards are delivered by email and are linked to the purchase record, including the named recipient.
  • Digital gift cards are non-refundable and cannot be transferred to a physical card nor to others. Please allow up to 24 hours for electronic delivery after purchase.
  • To redeem a digital gift card, the recipient must present a valid, government-issued photo ID matching the recipient name shown on the gift card email, and must show the original delivery email at the time of redemption. A digital gift card that does not meet these conditions may be declined.

5.3 Balance, Cash Redemption & Expiration

  • Gift cards may not be used to purchase other gift cards, 10 pass bundles, or certain promotional offers, unless otherwise specified at the time of sale.
  • Gift cards may be purchased in any customized dollar amount and may be reloaded with additional value.
  • Gift cards cannot be redeemed for cash, check, or credit, except where required by law. In accordance with New Jersey law, if the remaining balance on a gift card is $5.00 or less, that balance may be redeemed for cash upon request.
  • Gift cards do not expire for at least five (5) years from the date of purchase, in accordance with applicable federal and New Jersey law.

6. 10 x Bundles

Physical 10-Pass Admission vouchers are bearer instruments and should be treated like cash. Once purchased, physical passes cannot be traced to the original purchaser, and each voucher may be redeemed by anyone who presents it. Island Spa & Sauna is not responsible for lost, stolen, damaged, or unauthorized use of physical vouchers.

Digital 10-Pass Admission credits are linked to the purchasing customer's account profile. These digital 10 pass admission bundles may not be shared with or used by any person other than the purchasing customer, unless the purchasing customer is present at check-in to authorize that use. Each redemption is tracked against the purchasing customer's profile.

10-Pass Service Bundles are sold and redeemed exclusively in digital form, linked to the purchasing customer's account profile. No physical voucher option exists for service bundles. As with digital admission credits, service bundle credits may not be shared with or used by any person other than the purchasing customer, unless the purchasing customer is present at check-in to authorize that use.

7. Spa & Wellness Services

Spa & Wellness Services are not included with any admission type. Guests must hold valid General Admission or an unused admission/service credit in order to book or receive a service.

7.1 Booking & Check-In

  • Reservations are strongly recommended. Walk-in service appointments are accommodated only on a first-come, first-served, space-available basis.
  • Guests must check in at the front desk at least 30 minutes before the scheduled service time. Island Spa & Sauna reserves the right to cancel a reservation if the guest does not check in within this window.
  • Guests under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian holding a service appointment at the same time.
  • A guest who books a reservation for multiple individuals assumes full responsibility for that entire reservation, including communicating these Terms & Conditions to all members of the party and for any charges, cancellation fees, or no-show fees associated with the group. All group bookings are subject to the standard cancellation policy in Section 7.2, applied to the entire group.

7.2 Cancellations, No-Shows & Refunds

  • Cancellation given at least 12 hours before a scheduled appointment: no charge. Cancellation given less than 12 hours before a scheduled appointment: 25% of the reserved service price charged. Failure to show up for a scheduled appointment: 100% of the reserved service price charged.
  • Each reservation includes one complimentary reschedule. A reschedule requested within 15 minutes of the scheduled appointment time is treated as a late cancellation and incurs the applicable fee. Rescheduled appointments must be for the same service originally booked.
  • Guests arriving late to a scheduled appointment are charged in full for the reserved service and will receive an abbreviated service or, subject to availability, may be rescheduled to a later time.
  • Guests may stop a service within the first 5 minutes if dissatisfied. No refund will be issued for dissatisfaction reported after this 5-minute window or after the service has been completed.

7.3 Eligibility

Guests who are 13–36 weeks pregnant may book only the pregnancy-safe services designated by Island Spa & Sauna at the time of booking. Guests outside this window may not book or receive services.

8. Refund Policy

All products, merchandise, and services sold by Island Spa & Sauna, including but not limited to gift cards, 10-Pass Admission Passes, 10-Pass Service Bundles, General Admission, Spa & Wellness Service reservations, retail merchandise, and food and beverage purchases, are non-refundable except as expressly described below or where required by law.

Gift cards cannot be redeemed for cash, check, or credit, except that, in accordance with New Jersey law, a gift card balance of $5.00 or less may be redeemed for cash upon request. 10-Pass Admission Passes and 10-Pass Service Bundles are non-refundable once purchased, whether in physical or digital form, and unused credits carry no cash value. General Admission is non-refundable once purchased; because admission is valid for same-day, single entry only, no refund or credit is issued if a guest exits the facility before the end of a visit, and no refund is issued to a guest who is denied admission or removed from the premises for violating facility policies.

For Spa & Wellness Services, guests may stop a service within the first 5 minutes if dissatisfied; no refund will be issued for dissatisfaction reported after this 5-minute window or after the service has been completed. Cancellations made at least 12 hours before a scheduled appointment receive no charge. Cancellations made less than 12 hours before a scheduled appointment are charged 25% of the reserved service price, and a no-show for a scheduled appointment is charged 100% of the reserved service price; neither charge is refundable. Guests arriving late to a scheduled appointment are charged in full for the reserved service and will receive an abbreviated service or, subject to availability, may be rescheduled rather than refunded. Refunds related to a cancelled suspicious or fraudulent transaction will be issued only to the original form of payment, at Island Spa & Sauna's discretion.

9. Unauthorized Resale, Fraud & Third-Party Sales

Island Spa & Sauna does not authorize the resale of any of its products, passes, tickets, vouchers, or reservations, including but not limited to gift cards, gift certificates, 10-Pass Admission Passes, 10-Pass Service Bundles, General Admission tickets, and spa service reservations. Products or reservations obtained through unauthorized third-party platforms are considered fraudulent and invalid.

Island Spa & Sauna reserves the right to void any gift card, admission pass, ticket, voucher, or reservation obtained through unauthorized resale, duplication, or fraudulent activity, and to deny the purchaser access to future online purchases. Island Spa & Sauna further reserves the right to permanently deny entry to any individual found using, or attempting to use, any product, pass, ticket, voucher, or reservation originating from an unauthorized, suspicious, or fraudulent transaction — regardless of whether that individual was aware of the fraud at the time of purchase.

Suspicious or fraudulent transactions may be cancelled at Island Spa & Sauna's discretion. Any approved refunds related to such transactions will be issued to the original form of payment, and any affected inventory or reservation availability may be returned to availability.

10. Governing Law & Acceptance

Purchasing, receiving, booking, or redeeming any product, merchandise, or service from Island Spa & Sauna constitutes acceptance of these Terms & Conditions, which are governed by the laws of the State of New Jersey.
